Mitch McConnell literally blackmailed the sitting President of the United States out of pardoning Julian Assange. Don't forget that either.

McConnell allegedly told Trump that they were "much more likely to convict him in an impeachment trial" if he put Assange on his final list of pardons.

Assange didn’t want a pardon.

If he had wanted a pardon he would have taken it on one of the several times it was offered to him. All he had to do was provide proof that Russia didn’t hack the DNC and leak the emails to Wikileaks. It would have destroyed the Democrats, exonerated the President, and likely would have saved our country from this current fiasco we find ourselves in.

Assange refused.

Instead he decided he’d rather die a martyr, after spending the rest of his life rotting in an English prison cell.

I like Julian, but I lost a lot of respect for him when he decided he’d rather protect those committing evil acts, and destroying our country, because of his personal ethical choices.

Well, he made the choice, so he can live with the consequences. Unfortunately we’re now living with them too.
