I mean, would we have representatives who would actually serve our interest and outright call it for what it truly is: unconstitutional? I swear way less people would stand for the shit, and we'd have actual elected officials who would stand with us. What happened?

Nope. My dad, a Pacific WWII vet woulda laughed 'em out of office. Then, there were still MILLIONS of "bullshit-proof" men like him.
