At least eight states have suspended in-person jury trials until January, February or March, according to the Center for Jury Studies. At least seven other states, including Maryland and Wyoming, as well as the District of Columbia, have halted them until further notice.
During jury selection today, the prosecutor asked our opinions on 'defund the police' and I responded with, "I'd start with the FBI" and was awarded with a room full of Idaho laughter.
Someone tell me how a post like this gets nearly 3,000 updoots when there are no jury trials going on here.
