Convert your cash to physical gold and silver if possible. This entire thing will collapse the dollar in six months or sooner. Shock-waves incoming. Expect the fed to prop up the hedge funds by printing trillions.

Where is a good place to buy silver, if you happen to know

Spend a little time on this site before making a purchase. Look around read some of their sidebar info. Also, I can tell you from experience, the easiest silver to sell if you need money quickly is American Silver Eagles. Not 'rare' ones or highly graded ones. Just find the best deal you can get on silver eagles.

No problem. Watch out, though. You'll get hooked! I love collecting miscellaneous silver bars but they aren't as easy to sell.

Look for pawn shops, coin shops. Small mom n pop places. They all buy and sell gold n sliver coins. Try and buy junk silver if you can. Pre-1964 coins are 90% sliver and they are all legal tender and not bullion so they can never fall below face value. Stay away from paper assets. If you can't hold it in your hand and defend it, it's easy to steal with the push of a button. Physical is best.

MCM on ebay isn't bad. Reliable and you don't have to worry about fakes (there's quite a few on Ebay and they refuse to remove them). There's a premium on Eagles and Maples though. Of course, there's a premium on them everywhere. http://www.ebaystores.com/ModernCoinMart

I bought buckets of junk silver in the early 90's when it was around $3.00-$3.50 and oz. Now you will pay $20 and up but you should be wary of anyone charging over 5% over spot prices. They are dishonest
