DNA collection is a way to collect information for the purpose of creating bioweapons that specifically target groups of people based on their genomic differences.
Not that I doubt any of this but I imagine that they have already exfil'd 23AndMe and Ancestry's DNA databases long ago and probably continue to do so. We'll hear about all of that some day, once it's too late.
China has already infiltrated all of those american DNA companies by providing the lab work/research at a lower prices than makes sense. they're playing the long game, as always. Their goal is to engineer viruses that will be the most lethal to certain races they want to dispose of.
