So when I was a kid I'd hear bible stories of heros and giants and saints and prophets and healers and wonder why we dont have these kind of people now. As I've aged I realized that we do but it doesn't look like my kid mind thought it would and isn't always easy to recognize. So there are modern prophets our founding fathers were. George Orwell and Ayn rand had glimpses of the future. I'm not saying the bee is populated with prophets the likes of samuel, but I do say that god hasn't stopped giving people certain gifts.
