If he signs an EO altering laws then he may be able to find out. But if not there is no way anyone will know. Even if the police come into my house because I had a heart attack or something they will not see anything since my state requires guns be secure and mine are. Yeah, yeah I know they don't do any good locked up but in my situation it's fine and it's really just to cover my ass in a cucked out blue state. My state knows I have done all the paper work, taken the classes, and paid all the taxes to purchase an AR but I just don't think under current laws that they can prove I actually did.
The only way they can tell you have one is if you register it, which is why they're trying to pass this unconstitutional law. If you decide not to register it then you have to be careful where you go shooting. If you go to a gun range and there's ATF agents asking for registration you could get fucked. If you do register it then you're even more fucked because make no mistake, the ONLY purpose for registration is for confiscation later down the road
AR registration is the beginning. They need to know who you are and where you live because the next step is them doing a retroactive ban on AR's. They'll offer a buyback program. Maybe even pay more than they're worth. Then they'll say 'hey, we know who's got them and who doesn't so you need to turn them in or we could charge you.'
Then they'll wait awhile.
Then they'll say, 'okay, here's the thing; remember when we promised that we'd only take the AR's? We lied. You're going to need to give up all your firearms. You have 5 days. Turn them into your local PD. No buybacks. Be happy we're not kicking in your door, killing you, then taking your firearms. Which is what we'll do if you don't turn them in. You have no ability to fight back no because we took the weapons that pose a direct risk to us.'
Is that how commerce works? I go to a store and "buy back" a new TV?
The government cannot buy something back that they didn't sell me. If they would like to buy my property I can tell them to shove it or I get to decide the price.
