Their women's gymnastics team had kids who were very obviously not in the allowed age range. But their goverment-issued passports claimed they were. Except at previous gymnastics tournaments, their real ages had been submitted, so it was known that they shouldn't be competing. But because the official Chinese passports were used for the Olympics, they were allowed to cheat. Bela Karoly was infuriated.

China doesn't give a shit about truth. They do not care about their own people. Communists see children as small tools.
