I made the first jump away from Mozilla to Brave, and will soon do the same to Protonmail. VPNs are the next step ansd 've researched the big names like NordVPN and ExpressVPN, but I'd like to ask fellow Pedes for their thoughts on how BRaveVPN and ProtonVPN stack up, if you'd recommend (or not recommend). Any light shed is good light and welcomed.

I am a newly signed up subscriber for proton vpn/mail/drive and so far, I don't have any issues. connection wise I think proton is better than Windscribe vpn because of a feature that prevents ip leaks.

what it does is that there is a kill switch that the moment you lose connection, it prevents your ip from showing your location when it is in search for another server.

no idea about brave vpn. never tried them.

as for the proton mail, not impressed as I was so used to google products and you would have to use their app/software/browser as a separate function to check your email. It doesn't smoothly harmonizes with my Mac OS. I never had issues when I was using google suite.
