my friend, who after telling the doctor he wasn't going to give his underweight, developmentally challenge child (who barely survived birth at just 6 months) a vaccine, was assured by the pediatrician that the shots were "100% safe and effective". To which my friend then asked the doctor, "if that is the case, I will have my lawyer draw up a statement of liability and if you will accept the legal responsibility of any adverse reactions, I will let you give her the vaccine." The doctor said "I wont do that" and just exited the room. That pediatrician never bothered him about a shot again.
