Section 5 removes states ability to decide the place, how and time of election.

18
VarusSPQR 18 points ago +18 / -0

If that happens there will certainly be states that secede.

-3
Newacct -3 points ago +3 / -6

Nah. They remember what happened the last time they tried to secede.

Memphis is not in Tennessee. We gave it to Mississippi.

The biggest problem with eliminating the electoral college, for those who don't know, is that it would make stealing elections much much easier. Instead of having to go into several states and do it, you could just go anywhere in the country and do it, like in LA, NYC, Chicago, Detroit, and make up whatever numbers you want.

3
Politicalinmemeonly [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thats technically still what they do now.

3
Omnes_Omnibus 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yes, they steal elections now, but it becomes harder for us to show it and red-pill normies if they can hide their fraud in ways that can't be checked. Right now they still have to get some swing states, and that is the whole reason why we have any power and ability to influence the population and maybe audit votes. Which votes are you going to audit if it's nationwide? It's possible, but harder.

4
Politicalinmemeonly [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

They should be automatically audited in every state for every election. I also think people are going to take those days off now. For every election and be in every room they can be. Most people were on an honor system. But sadly (me included) forgot there is no horon among thieves.

What they don't realize, and don't get me wrong I am not for abolishing the EC, but it would be a BONANZA for the magas around the country. They're dopes, the people that vote Dem vote no matter what. In each election they get 100% of what they will get for votes in that election. However, do you know how many maga types living in IL, MA, NY,NJ and CA just sit home because they know that their vote doesn't mean shit. TONS. If all of those people came out the left would be crushed in ways I could only dream about. It's still a bad idea to abolish though.

2
Politicalinmemeonly [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Im one of those people in cali.

2
TheKingOL 2 points ago +2 / -0

There are soooo many out there that the elimination of the electoral college would throw into the ring, that they don't know what they're asking for. On the other hand, it would guarantee that no one will pay attention to Iowa anymore, which is the reason it should not happen. If we get rid of fraud, you'll see how much more in play Cali is than you ever thought.

3
ArtistWarrior 3 points ago +3 / -0

It takes 2/3 of the house to approve.

It takes 2/3 of the States to approve an amendment to the Constitution, because the electoral college is in that sacred document.

This isn't the first time it's been tried, if I remember right.

4
Politicalinmemeonly [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Its not but they will keep trying. an if we dont pressure these faggots in Congress it will happen.

2
ArtistWarrior 2 points ago +2 / -0

Lord are you correct. Even if we do pressure the faggots it may still happen.

Still got to do it.

The "Mob Rule" bill

2
AgentGTO 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is pretty much irrelevant. Even if by a miracle it were to pass the House and Senate, it would still require 3/4ths of the states to ratify it. The real threat to the EC is them pushing the national vote mandate where states will give their EC votes to the winner of the national popular vote, that is far more of a danger because it's pretty much a way to bypass the EC all together and the feds could bully states into accepting this change or lose federal funding.

If the States that were reluctant to agree to unification without the EC knew, they never would have agreed.
