Much of the Texas activity is on private or state land.

Most in New Mexico/Montana is on federal land.

Don't mess with Texas.

Texas was never a territory. It was a Republic that joined the Union voluntarily. Now look at Nevada. 90% of it is Federal land. It is really shocking to realize that the Feds own 28% of US soil.

Native Texan here.

Texas was a functioning republic for 10 years. Naturally, they printed their own money which some counties (France) actually accepted.

When Texas joined the US, one requirement was that Texas retain their original lands.

Crazy that 90% of NV is Federal Land.

Adjacent to NV in CA is Inyo County. 98% is controlled/owned by the US, CA, LADWP, or Native Tribes.

have they actually done anything to hurt fracking yet?

2
Anon331717 2 points ago +2 / -0

There isn’t much fracking going on right now at all. Some, but nothing like last year and a couple prior.

Only on federal land. Everyone I work for has said this is gonna be a boom year for private land owners

If you could see a geoEarth model of the number of wells drilled under those sites shown in the map, you would truly be amazed.

I can’t imagine the big oil and gas companies are just going to lay down and let Biden roll over them. They are huge like the pharmaceutical companies.
