Yep, big midwest supermarket chain that sells not only groceries but clothes, electronics, lawn & garden stuff, games and books. Basically a great concept for one stop shopping. Like Target, kind of, but with car batteries and paint and all the stuff you need for a house.

But no more for our household.

So Target sells the hard stuff too up there?

So it is kind-of like a larger walmart then?( Nearly all sell car batteries and paint, larger ones tires)

Here children aren't allowed to buy anything from stores that sell anything distilled, so more general purpose stores don't sell distilled alcohol. Though larger liquor stores are the size of grocery stores will have a large stock of food and miscellanea, so you can still use them a one stop shop for daily needs.

Yeah, like that. But Meijer has a reputation of being "nicer" than Walmart. It's pretty on par with Target I suppose. The stores are huge though. When ours first opened my brother joked he could get lost in there.

It's great when you want to buy a whole lot of different things. I had pretty much stopped shopping at Target after the men allowed in women's bathroom thing but I would rather stick it to Meijer harder right now.

I stopped go to target after they confirmed they support BLM. I was disappointed about Meijer. I liked going to thay store so Kroger it is then.
