For the past 4 years, I wondered how long it would take dimwits to realize that Trump was the middle finger to the establishment.

Unfortunately, many people are so stupid that the only way they can learn is through personal suffering.

That's actually the only way most people learn the hardest lessons in life. Unless of course they have a relatively unbiased media giving them the truth to shape perception.

Forget TV. They read a headline or hear a story from someone and think its true. It's an ego thing imo. People hate not knowing things but most people are too lazy or actually busy to keep themselves informed so they relegate that duty to whatever they pick up.

It's a bad habit because it's low information and leads to easily manipulated folks. In some ways its not entirely their fault, but in a lot of ways it's also their own for not paying close enough attention. Again if the media actually did even half of their job this wouldn't be an issue.

This is how I learn things. I'm always right until I hurt myself.

..then again, I am a government employee.. stickman shrug with shoulder missing

Aren't we all though? I don't know about you but its only when I make mistakes do I actually learn a lesson. Or I go through a painful experience.

I don't mind if that's how THEY learn their lesson. But it's fucked that they have to drag US along with their lesson learning.

2
Razi 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sure. But sadly most of the US needs to learn this lesson. A lot of people are lazy, complacent morons who think the tv or the news feed is truth.

Also; remind them that most of their pre election suffering was actually from the dems... within 5 days of xiden being installed the hard lockdown governors start the "it peaked" narrative to reopen. Hydroquinone worked all along. Pelosi held up stimulus checks and unemployment help... they clearly don't have any special more competent strategy for handling rona (other than a Trump like travel ban). Claims to the contrary just more of their lies....et cetera.

Sad but true. They don't listen to people trying to give them good advice in order to avoid a bad thing from happening (don't vote for liberals, they'll raise your taxes). Something bad has to happen to them in order for them to learn. It's unfortunate, because I don't want bad things to happen, but they won't learn otherwise. It's just a shame the rest of us have to suffer because they're stupid.

If you listen to any Bernie or Warren speech, they start by accurately identifying many aspects of the corrupt system, yet they never properly identify the real culprit.

The real culprit is the corrupt establishment system that they are a part of.

So their followers recognize the problem, but fall for the sleight of hand and accept that it is the "right wing" that is corrupt and responsible and that they are good.

Now they are showing that they are actually not very good. Hopefully their followers make that logical leap. We need to help them do so.

the dam is breaking. Trump won in a landslide because of things like #walkaway. and the red pilling rate is higher than ever now. if aoc wants unification, she can find it on the right, because everybody's jumping ship. haha lets see her demand audits, that'll win me over.

That's what I'm seeing, even if I just terminated a text conversation with a lifelong friend who I thought would be ready to see the truth.

Dude is in the teacher's union, so it was an uphill battle to start with.

We can't reach them all, and this guy might actually survive the shock cause he understands the corruption, but can't get over his TDS.

I think these people are addicted to their two minute hate. (Sometimes I see some embers of hope but then they retreat into the fire of their own stupidity. It's amazing to watch.)
