occupy wall street is something that was widely misunderstood. In the beginning, before it was co-opted, the root of it was outrage at banks being "bailed out" while the lowly peons were left to suffer the consequences. "banks got bailed out, we got sold out." It then spun into all kinds of other stuff. But at the original gatherings all sorts of people were there, from don't tread on me tea partiers to leaders in urban communities.

I wasn't onboard with OWS back in 2009, but seeing journalists writing from home telling working American they 'just have to stay home' made me want to punch every entitled prick in the face. The utter contempt and disgust these people have for working Americans sickens me to the very core.

And this is why we need to burn the club down my friends

When a child is banished from their tribe, over time they will stop seeking the tribe’s warmth. Eventually the child seeks and finds its warmth from the fire of burning the whole tribe village down.

I went to OWS a few times at Zuccotti Park and there were some libertarian/anti-Fed types there but it was mostly dirty communists looking for an excuse to party.

It didn't start like that. I'm pretty sure SJWs are tools of the deep state that are sent in to disrupt any movement that has a chance of affecting change.

AKA useful idiots. Too dumb to realize they're the condom protecting the dicks that'll toss them away, like the trash they are.

Not useful then. Unless you mean useful to the bad side.

Pretty much - there was a first person account somewhere from some dude who said it was cool until the the batshit SJW feminists started showing up. They took over everything and started abusing the white dudes who were keeping shit in order. He said that soon the white dudes had enough of the feminists screeching at them so they left. Once they left there was no one to keep shit in line and supposedly that's when the sexual assaults started happening and homeless people started moving in and everything fell apart right after.

So yeah, SJWs are cancer and most likely a tool of the deep state.

The trustafarians, hippies and posers ‘on board’ were pushed by the media.

Definitely a media smoke show during obuthole’s time and now back with bideng

Agreed. I tried hard to get those people to question who birthed it toward it’s self-destructiveness and no one could answer that question or I was deterred from questioning the birth.

Dirty commies take part in every single protest that happens. That's how they recruit activists. If the protest is explicitly anti-communist, then they show up as counter-protest.

Seems to me that occupy Wall Street was grassroots at the beginning and had support from the whole spectrum. It then got co-opted and devolved into hippies and drum circles. What we’re seeing now seems to be occupy Wall Street 2.0 except the public gatherings are virtual and sans useless drum circles.

It also occurred to me that the antifa/proud boys type schism originated from those times as a way to divide and concour. Aside from being useless commies, at the roots, we have more in common with the left than many here would like to admit.

I keep saying this, then people REEEE that we have nothing in common and the enemy of our enemy is not our friend cause these are dirty commies.

Glad someone gets it

Commies aren't people.

Monsterfan 8 points ago +9 / -1

I have said it too and been trashed mercilessly, told I am an idiot and to "just fuck off". Anything to keep us divided.

If we lived in a free market system where people were allowed to prosper, there’d be a lot less commies. Most commies are just losers in life trying to make it any way they can. The righteous indignation is a posture; most of them just have their hand out, helpless.

"Commies" is often just shorthand for neoliberals. They like capital, when it's in their hands. They like inequality. And they want you to pay for everything they do. Every cockamamie social policy they can come up with, YOU foot the bill.

Then you had people named Ketchup who has to have people wave their fingers to say if they disagree or agree because they can't read a person, representing a movement that should be for everyone!

That video is so funny, its sad watching Stephen roasting this chick for touting trannie bullshit knowing now he would be upset if someone did that nowadays.

This is what Leftists frequently do. They infiltrate organizations and movements with agendas that are seen by the mainstream as reasonable, and then poison them from the inside.
