2008 destroyed my father as well. He lost everything. Of his 3 siblings, 3 are still alive and more than healthy. He died of a heart attack after being a gymnast, and the healthiest man I'd ever met. I remember how calm he was and how he wasn't ever angry or afraid in front of us, but you could see the pain in knowing those 125 employees that had relied on him for almost 50 years were being left with nothing. He watched millions of his own dollars and his ability to be a provider evaporate in an instant
