NYT is probably full of this kind of stuff. But the worst writers would be the ones who are just agents of this government.

It is.

I’ve been to the NYT office many times (a friend works there).

The atmosphere is very PC and contrived, it’s obvious they’ll never criticize one of their own “minority” employees or the Lefty mantra. This is why honest talent eventually gets pushed out of NYT.

This guy probably flew through the screening process and they ignored potential red flags to be PC.

Any thoughts on how they get that way? I mean this is exactly what the elite university environment is like, so I suspect it just gets pushed to the NYT from there. Seems like everything goes academia->press and academia->tech etc.

It's called "The long march through the institutions." A decades-long project by the left, which the right has not successfully countered. So now we have woke fascists in every institutional position, and our country has changed not by people voting a different way, or by the popular mindset changing. Instead, the corporations, media, academia and government have been infiltrated from the inside out, so they no longer represent the people. They represent a minority, and through their dominance in education, they're manufacturing more.

They are now ready to govern top-down, the way all countries with a single-party govern: through force, state propaganda, and diktat. And we have nothing, because we cannot organize: the FBI is the STASI, big tech are their helpers, and anyone who would organize is treated like a domestic terrorist who, even when they did nothing wrong, will at minimum lose their career / company / platform / job.
