This is how it begins this makes me more sympathetic to Lin Wood.... First they claim you're insane then they lock you up. Then they silence you.

Bobby Kennedy did it to General Walker in the early 60s. I often wonder if his assassination was a judgement for all of his evil stunts. He could be a wretch.

Ahh, the general who was unsuccessfully assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald before John F Kennedy was assassinated.

Kraznaya 18 points ago +24 / -6

Lin Wood will be proven 100% correct in everything he's said, and when they day comes everyone who called him crazy better apologize.

Yeah, I think that ALL lawyers in controversial cases, make some remarkable claims...outside of the court. Which, is where Lin Wood is.

11
DeadOverRed 11 points ago +11 / -0

Nobody ever makes the left apologize.

5
Miskyavine 5 points ago +8 / -3

Look Lin is a retard or snake oil salesman in my opinion but if by some miracle any of what he said comes true I’ll apologize but I don’t believe it.

They can lock you up indefinitely if they deem you insane. That is the loophole for putting people in institutions. It’s a process that needs to be changed. There are people in hospitals that have been there for years because the doctors believe they are mentally incapable of functioning in the public.

I dealt with the GA state bar once.

They are crooked as fuck.

As are the politicians it produces apparently...

Meanwhile, Kevin Clinesmith has not been disbarred for falsifying evidence presented to the FISA Court.

19
Elanea32 19 points ago +19 / -0

And he’ll get pardoned by Biden. This is just a game to these people.

11
Falcon_the6 11 points ago +12 / -1

This guy got a lesser sentence than Most people do for smoking a joint.

Durham had to have gotten some info out of him in order to go after bigger fish.

It’s the only way I see him able to get such a low slap on the wrist sentence for a charge of this nature.

8
IncredibleMrE1 8 points ago +8 / -0

Senate Intel Committee staffer James Wolfe gave the Carter Page FISA warrant to a NYT presstitute in exchange for a blowjob. He got a slap on the wrist. Some people thought at the time that he got just a wrist-slap because he flipped on SSCI Ranking Member Mark Warner, who with Richard Burr's full knowledge, had actively assisted the attempted coup. History now shows that simply was never the case - the DOJ opted to sweep everything under the rug and let Wolfe off basically scot-free. And Mark Warner is now the chair of the Senate Intel Committee.

What we witnessed today with Clinesmith was the same thing. Slap on the wrist for a scapegoat while the big fish (Weissmann, Mueller, everyone at the FBI and DOJ) will get away scot-free.

1
Falcon_the6 1 point ago +1 / -0

I agree with you that it seems like a lot of people are getting away Scott free but at the same time, it’s not in normal for prosecutors to request lesser sentences for people who give up information in a bigger scheme.

We’ve seen this throughout history in a lot of cases. However, we are talking about the biggest case this country has every encountered.

It’s entirely too odd for all of these processes to even be happening while the DS is in the White House writing EO’s and Congress is going on like business as usual.

Why is the charade even necessary if they are controlling everything?

It doesn’t make sense.

7
Thiswillbeintheexam 7 points ago +7 / -0

It’s the only way I see him able to get such a low slap on the wrist sentence for a charge of this nature.

Still thinking the system isn't completely crooked.

Did you even watch the election we just had??

2
Falcon_the6 2 points ago +2 / -0

I hear what you’re saying but I am holding out hope that this country is still going to do the right thing.

You have to see all the people that have been stepping down or resigning to be out of the way.

If this was still all the control of the deep state, then why wouldn’t they just stay in these positions? If they’re in total control, why the charade? Why even put on the show?

The USSR used to accuse dissidents of being mentally ill and confine without trial or sentence, to asylums were they were tortured, medically, for their own good, so they said.

4
peltast 4 points ago +4 / -0

Bobby Kennedy did it to General Walker. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edwin_Walker

2nd paragraph in.

3
Smurfection 3 points ago +3 / -0

Despite some people thinking the kennedys were a wonderful Camelot family, they were actually authoritarian drug addled addicts that never really had a clue what they were doing. That family has probably done more to harm American than any other family with the exception of the Clintons and the Bushes.

I was just reading about that. Scary stuff.

Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-FL) has introduced a bill, the Security Clearance Improvement Act of 2021, aimed to prevent those engaged in “conspiracy theories” from having security clearances, specifically those who “participated in the January 6, 2021 activity at the U.S. Capitol or a similar ‘Stop the Steal’ activity,” or anyone who has been “a member of, associated with, or knowingly engaged in activities conducted by an organization or movement that spreads conspiracy theories and false information about the U.S. government—like QAnon, a group that has been tied to the Capitol attack.”

Poor nurse Ratched, Lin will make mince meat of her.

10
maga_mama_757 10 points ago +11 / -1

I have been concerned about his mental health.

HOWEVER. Forcing someone to undergo a mental exam or risk losing your license to practice law is kinda fucked up.

Funny how they can’t provide any evidence showing he is wrong......

9
remindmelater 9 points ago +9 / -0

They always go after peoples professional license....attacking their livelihood....sometimes they just make up stuff like this time with lynn wood. Funny thing is Lynn is probably the sanest person in Georgia....well the most ethical at least....

2

This was a common practice in Soviet Russia: weaponized psychiatry, "punitive medicine." The next step for Dissidents is forced incarceration in a mental hospital--for their own good, of course.

1
ToxicViper 1 point ago +1 / -0

Didn't they do this to Trump as well? Constantly try to affirm some sort of cognitive disruption.

Lobotomize yourself to keep your license.

1
flashersenpai 1 point ago +1 / -0

Lin Wood is a dunderhead, but I don't agree with occupational licensing. It's obviously designed to create monopolies.

You get what you pay for. I don't need some dicks in a board room deciding who I can hire.

1
Space_Force 1 point ago +1 / -0

They will apply this to the 2A soon, just wait and see.

The red flag laws are just the beginning. Soon, merely thinking that the election was stolen or that our government or stock market are corrupt or eventually not being a "party member" will be grounds to revoke your 2A rights, but it will be for your own safety, so it will be fine.

I mean, honestly, he’s spouted a bunch of crazy shit and hasn’t dropped any real evidence. I don’t blame the bar for this.

13
Pirate_Lafitte 13 points ago +15 / -2

He did call the fulton county video a good two weeks before it dropped, and he rightly said kemp and ratburger should be in prison long before we knew the true extent of their fuckery. But yeah, he has said some off-the-wall shit.

free speech

it is wrong to label him insane and take away his livelihood because of his speech

0
buckfoomers 0 points ago +4 / -4

He can say what he wants, but he's absolutely deranged if he actually believes it and isn't just grifting off senile boomers.

4
spinometer 4 points ago +4 / -0

you don't sound sincere when you say he can say what he wants.

you'd be at home on the thought police committee of the Georgia bar association

0
repeal230 0 points ago +2 / -2

Slander is slander, no matter how you put it. These people and companies that he's slandering with nothing to back it up, are well within their rights to call him out.

Put up or shut up!

4
spinometer 4 points ago +4 / -0

Dominion shills are strong tonight.

-3
buckfoomers -3 points ago +1 / -4

If he genuinely believes what he says, he genuinely does have mental problems and shouldn't be practicing law.

6
spinometer 6 points ago +6 / -0

There you go practicing medicine without a license.

-2
repeal230 -2 points ago +3 / -5

I'm not arguing about "free speech".

The dude has been spewing conspiracy theory crap and not backing it up! free speech doesn't mean you can just say anything, like yelling "Fire" in a crowded movie theater.

So, in the immortal words of Tom Cruise, Show Me The Money!

2
artism 2 points ago +2 / -0

its legal to yell fire in a crowded movie theatre. free speech is free speech.

2
repeal230 2 points ago +2 / -0

True!

But his "speech" is going to get him disbarred. Even the lawyers know this is batshit crazy.

1
repeal230 1 point ago +2 / -1

wrong thread.

0
artism 0 points ago +1 / -1

no, I just disagree with you

1
spinometer 1 point ago +1 / -0

it is nothing at all like yelling fire in a crowded theater. it is protected speech and you are wrong to advocate for him being persecuted for it by the powers that be. completely antithetical to the dot win principles, not to mention American principles.

please take your shilling for the thought and speech police back to chyna thank you

0
repeal230 0 points ago +2 / -2

Wow, so now I'm a communist for saying what I think. Thanks for proving me right.

You cannot spout bullshit conspiracy theories which affect people and companies without a shred of evidence and not expect some sort of fallout.

It's not communism, silly, it's how OUR country has works since the start.

Don't talk shit if you can't back it up! And there has been NO back up!

3
spinometer 3 points ago +3 / -0

Ok Dominion, if you say so.

2
flashersenpai 2 points ago +2 / -0
