COVID is probably a flu strain for this year. The flu mutates yearly. The flu vaccine is a joke .. a huge guess and a big money maker. Covid being the flu strain for this flu season is what makes sense. Nothing else does.

Technically Influenza and Corona viruses are different. For both however if you don't get a strain of it for ~5 years your antibodies lose effectiveness.
