I too have speculated it's all a show. Especially since the shooter stepped out of cover, the camera man was working with CNN, the dude who broke the window appeared from behind a police line and disappeared behind a police line. Ashli could have been under cover as a way to show people, you will get shot if you breach the area. Perhaps it was something to motivate an actual attack, but no one brought guns.

She did get stretchered out. One of the EMTs would have to be in on it.
With that said, I can also argue that a family of a supposed terrorist probably doesn't want to be seen. Blood may not spatter the walls.

The medic pumping on her chest on the stretcher did not look like full chest compression to me, but I'm not qualified to say for sure. When they were walking by the news cameras it looked like photo op theater. I know chest compression if done correctly can break ribs.
Let's say someone gets shot in the neck. Dies almost instantly. When you show up 20 minutes later, you're going to break her ribs just to prove you can? Why?
The lack of documentation would seem the most puzzling aspect of a hoax. Setting up and accomplishing a viable recording of her purported death would make crafting up some fake documents utter child’s play. The latter would seemingly have to be botched on purpose, but why? Send a message to those who dig too deep that this rogue element of society can and does operate with impunity?
