I dont know nancypelosisoldliver. I am sure it is very complicated. You keep saying "we" but have you ever met any of these other people in real life? So what makes you think that you (and them) are suddenly going to get invited to an investors meetings with the board of directors of AMC?
Only people with large stakes or holdings in a company get invited. You have to own about 20% of the companies stocks. They only invite super rich people. Plus you cannot just say as a group we own 20% either because you wouldnt fit into a single room. They cannot pole your opinions and they dont care about you poor folks. The company will only consult you if you own a large amount of stock.
Plus even if you were invited to some sort of stake holders meeting then there isnt any guarantee that the CEO or employees of the company are going to give a crap about what you think. Just because you own stock in a company DOES NOT mean you make the decisions in that company. IT JUST MEANS that the profits are SHARED with YOU. AGAIN it does not mean you make the decisions. The only way share holders can influence the company is by threatening to sell their shares and divest in the company. Again you threatening to sell your 10 shares DOESNT mean anything to them. YOU WOULD have to plan a mass action with millions of people to all sell their shares at once. DO you have the ability to do that?
