Cuomo could have put infected elderly into some nursing homes, and kept uninfected elderly in separate nursing homes - didn't happen. Trump gave Cuomo a giant hospital ship that he could have put infected patients - barely used. Trump built Cuomo a field hospital in Central Park - barely used. Trump built Cuomo a massive field hospital in the Javits Center - barely used. Trump built a hospital in Brooklyn - $23 million, completely unused, not one single patient. Why? Sometime in April people started to notice and say things. The media protected Cuomo. Late April into early May 2020 was the weirdest time. Death rates in ONLY SOME FEW PARTICULAR states that put infected people into nursing homes were skyrocketing, and the media was blaming only Trump.
In late April2020 some reporters start asking Cuomo about it.

Nursing home management actually begged these governor to not force them to take patients while at the same time forbidding testing of the new patients. Nursing homes are not hospitals. They don't have adequate trained doctors and staff, they didn't have PPP supplies, don't have the ability to safely quarantine and no clue how to manage the patient once infected. Cuomo demanded way too many ventilators and refused to use the hospital ship or Javits Center which was set up as hospital. Why? Because Cuomo didn't want the Trump administration to get any credit. Twisted political scum.
