That disrespect for Boromir tho. He was a good guy who suffered from the Ring's temptations, but he dies to save Frodo. He doesn't deserve being associated with Tulsi.
Lured by the evils of communism sounds like a decent description of Tulsi even if it is sadly disrespectful to Boromir.
I went back and forth on boromir. He seemed like the best character for a person who is misguided but probably not a bad person. That's why I picked tulsi. But there are many other interpretations one could make that would be as good or better.

Tulsi as Boromir, FUCK NO! Tulsi is not on our side. Terrible choice, it ruins the meme/analogy. Change it to someone else, like say someone who couldn’t see MAGA yet until later. Boromir was always good (wanted what was best for his people), but the ring fucked with him where he had a moment of weakness and betrayal. However, he redeemed himself by sacrificing himself to save Frodo.
