you know the specific lineage of mankind is traced through the old testament, right? it goes well beyond 800 years.
4000 years ago would be 2000BC and the Egyptian 365 day calender records are around 1000BC if you want to use that as proof they knew about planets.
The first written theories about what was in the sky were made by the ancient Greeks and their civ began in 1200 BC
