One big, dirty lie is that the medicines our able clinicians found to treat it -- specifically cocktails of hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin -- don't work. We have spent at least 6 months under unjustifiable lockdowns because our government and our press have lied to us about outpatient drug treatments for this disease that can stop it cold at the minor inconvenience stage.
The key is to take it seriously if you are symptomatic, even though the initial symptoms are mild. "Take it seriously" means take 5 days of a drug cocktail, plus D, C, and maybe an antibiotic.
A second big, dirty and DANGEROUS lie is that the positive tests at 45 cycles detect infection. They in fact produce a LOT of false positives! So, a whole lot of people who have symptoms and test positive -- don't have COVID-19, but have something much more minor. Tests at this level are so non-specific, they give the impression that the actual disease is a minor inconvenience. It leads to the deadly misimpression that the disease is harmless.
And the 3 people close to me that tested positive & recovered from covid,,,had no shortness of breath.
One only had mild cough, and cold like symptoms.
One only had a fever.
One had loss of appetite.
All 3 had to be tested for work. ( we live in California) . One had the rapid test. The other two had the three days later results test.
I'll see your 3 close people with a young woman in her early thirties who was intubated and died of COVID-19 (California), and a cousin of mine who (fortunately) spent just a few days on a ventilator and is now out of ICU (Texas).
Then, there's my son and his girlfriend (early twenties, both fit and otherwise healthy), who got sick, tested positive, got miserably sick over the course of only a couple of days, and bounced back rapidly once they started taking Zinc, Quercetin, C, D, and a multivitamin with trace selenium. The Zinc and Quercetin were limited to 5 days.
If you actually have COVID-19, early treatment is key, and waiting for the test results is not in your best interests.
Edit: My son has antibodies, and due to his blood type, is in demand for plasma donations, so his infection is confirmed. His girlfriend has not tested for plasma donation.
