Test post.

Edit1 :: Finding out if OP is a liar.

Edit2 :: I am retard or OP is a faggot. Explain yourself OP.

Edit3 :: OP explained themselves but I don't get the cool new feature it seems. Sad.

Lol, I think there’s a time limit when the edit eraser shows up. Noticed it on a reply to a couple of my recent comments. I think there’s a time limit of maybe only 5-10 minutes where you can edit without seeing the edit button because I fat finger and misspell almost every comment. I’ll ride out the clock, come back in an hour or so, fix the spelling error above and then reply again.

I've never seen it but I'm also not using community style(s) so that I can vote down trash posts in new. I'll keep an eye out. I've never seen this but I'd love to be able to see a history to of edits (there clearly is a record, but I've been wondering where exactly the edit notes are visible).

Like this one? :) There must be a timeframe for edits because now it does show up and here’s a link to that edit of the comment above, turning off styling I don’t know; but that’s a smart move to be able to downvote garbage posts (and possibly you consider this one, I just thought it was interesting when I noticed the change). Have a wonderful weekend regardless!

Nah, I normally aggressively shitpost if I downvote which this absolutely was not. This was passive shitposting at best. I'm sorry coach, I didn't give it my all this time around. In other words, I was not being serious in my initial comment because the premise of the comment was not to talk to anyone but to test for the presence of the feature.

On a more serious note, yeah I am always interested in changes to the user interface of services like this and I appreciate you pointing it out!

I have actually done some personal creative work to capture overtime the visuals of website homepages and then use some animation magic to have the website transform through its small iterations. Even formats like this where the structure is defined and quite static end up having a surprising amount of movement of elements on the page over time that don't ever get noticed by most users.

The 10px padding adjustment that pisses the web-developer off so they go and fix it randomly one day. The social media share icon that has been on every single post for the duration of the website and then disappears one day with no comment because it had been used a total of 10 times in years by users. I find it all quite interesting.

I can't call up any examples of the features other than yours using the URL format of the link at the end of your most recent comment (mine or other comments where edits have taken place) which makes me think that it might be A/B testing to see if anyone notices and uses it. A/B testing and then measuring user response towards the desired optimal behavior (typically engagement) is rampant and I'd expect to see it here with the sheer amount traffic that comes through.

Thank you again for your observation and I hope that the rest of your weekend and coming week are not only agreeable, but exceptional.
