It's pretty difficult to find people my age and political persuasion because of that. No idea how to begin actively searching in a blue run state either, especially since I'm more traditional and prefer a more male-led relationship.
We're out there. We're probably in our garage/workshop alone, or basement bar with friends, avoiding the population because it's infested with diseased, mentally ill liberals.
There are very few; there are way more right wing men than women, which is why the dating scene is so messed up. That, and something like 66% of women are obese nowadays.
I'm a mid-50's semi retired widower. I'm slightly overweight, balding and walk with a pimp limp. I swear I'm turning women away. The secret is confidence and solid eye contact but not so much you look like a psycho.
Venues to find a decent woman: church, dance classes, upscale PUB's - not dance clubs or bars, farmers markets, borrow a friend's dog to walk, the paint section or garden areas of the hardware store. Going to better venues gets you better quality and likely conservative women.
Thanks pede. I'm not looking for love again and maybe that's helping with meeting women. I'm certainly not on the prowl. The way I look at life is that I've already had my happy ever after. Everything else is gravy. Bonus rounds. Biscuits and coffee after dessert. If love finds me I won't fight it off but it's not the destination.
