Any Lawyers Out There that Know About Power of Attorney That Could Answer a Quick Question Please...

My Dad wants me to give him Power of Attorney and then give him the paperwork. I own my own home. Would that give him power to sell it right from under me if he wanted to. What nefarious (if someone wanted to be) things can someone do with a power of attorney. I appreciate your time.

You don't have to be a lawyer to know that it's crazy to even consider it.

Yeah, completely insane. Not falling for it. I read that you especially don't give them the paperwork because then they can start abusing it.
