Any Lawyers Out There that Know About Power of Attorney That Could Answer a Quick Question Please...
My Dad wants me to give him Power of Attorney and then give him the paperwork. I own my own home. Would that give him power to sell it right from under me if he wanted to. What nefarious (if someone wanted to be) things can someone do with a power of attorney. I appreciate your time.
NAL: talk to a local lawyer before you do anything, but there could be differences in the way a POA can be set up—i.e. springing or non-springing. Just look it up so you can ask all the right questions to your attorney and answer his.
Thank you
