System of a Down is conservative? I thought they were super lefty? They were super anti-establishment during the Bush years and I just assumed that they flipped their positions when Obama got into office...

Maybe I'm confusing them with Rage Against The Machine who definitely did that. Now they Rage for the machine.

That’s the difference between us and current day liberals. Back during Bush, there was a reason to hate the right side of our federal government (wars and war profiteering, possible false flag of 9/11, cronyism, etc.) and to cheer on the media and the left. They were supposedly against all these things- until Obama came along promising change. The only thing he changed was the feeling of unity among Americans of all races.

My politics haven’t changed.

The issue here is "current day" Liberals are still the same as they've always been, unless we're going to more linguistic ground to the fucking Socialists, which I'm not. It's Progressives and Socialists that people are turning into, not Liberal.

I'm a Liberal and I'll be damned if I let Socialists take our language any more than I'll let them take our land.

No, you've got it. Serj Tankian, the lead singer, might be super talented, but he's still a lefty moron. I think it was one of his solo albums where the dope was flipping out about the draft - 50 years after it ended.
