Alternate Headline:

BREAKING: SPACEX CONTINUES TO FOLLOW ITAR RESTRICTIONS

80
Pierre_Delectoes 80 points ago +80 / -0

Yeah this doesn't even make sense. I get that Biden's DOJ is trying to railroad Musk for political reasons, but this is a poor effort even for them. The reporting is that SpaceX is in trouble for refusing to follow US national security laws and not hire a Chinese spy?

62
Kaarous 62 points ago +62 / -0

Yeah this doesn't even make sense.

It makes perfect sense. You have to understand that any organization controlled by leftists(or even allows them to join) no longer exists to accomplish its ostensible purpose, or even to follow the law. It exists to advance Marxism.

7
Pierre_Delectoes 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yeah, but what I mean is that it doesn't make sense they'd base their "investigation" on something facially legal. If they are going to conduct sham investigations against political enemies, you'd think they'd at least make up something that's actually against the law. If its all made up anyway, why would they make up something that's not illegal?

6
Kaarous 6 points ago +6 / -0

If they are going to conduct sham investigations against political enemies, you'd think they'd at least make up something that's actually against the law.

I think they'd do the opposite. This is a flex. They are showing off, brazenly displaying their disrespect for the law.

They don't care about appearing legitimate.

Isn't it funny how you can't find a single instance of "fascist" Trump's DOJ going after leftists with retarded bullshit like this, but the instant Biden gets back into the White House the DOJ reverts to their Obama-era Stasi ways?

7
KekistanPM 7 points ago +7 / -0

I'd be a little concerned if I were Elon because even with 100% lawful compliance, the swamp can just invent some dirt and run with it.

The FAA pulled his license to launch a test rocket just this Friday. He now has 2 test articles sitting on the pad but can't get FAA approval to launch them.

Yes and make the most advanced rockets on Earth by far. If these foreign scientists are so damned good there's no shortage of countries/companies that would scoop them up.

Picking a fight with Elon Musk has to be the lowest IQ move in the history of government.

57
ILoveWatermelons 57 points ago +57 / -0

Actually, the first thing a corrupt government has to do is purge all the high IQ people. That's usually not a problem, considering that with corrupt governments, they tend to always rig themselves a win in the "justice" system.

Show me the man. I'll find you the crime. -Lavrentiy Beria

21
ubermk3 21 points ago +21 / -0

Good point, but it's not about what Musk would do to retaliate. It's that he is such a popular figure across the spectrum of public opinion that going after him would unite the public perhaps as much as any other conceivable scenario. That is the most dangerous outcome for a corrupt govt.

12
Harambe 12 points ago +12 / -0

They fucked up and let us unite over GME. They won't touch our boy musk. Buy the dip.

8
PB_Mack 8 points ago +8 / -0

Dude has access to rockets. He can shove a car around a few planets in a slingshot and have a mighty nice Kinetic Energy Weapon to target onto his enemies. Ultimate 2A there.

We’re not even a month into Biden’s presidency and already people are revolting in various ways. You know he’s going to side with Wall Street on the stock market too. He’s ruining women’s sports. In general, if this pace keeps up for four years, under him or Kamala, the natural outcome would be something the polar opposite, whether or not Trump had even been president already.

I personally think Trump’s role in the next election should be as King maker, not to run again. If someone can have Trump’s strategy behind them and a more appealing persona to many, they’re going to have to rig the election so much that nobody would know someone that voted for the other guy.

8
DrBJTester 8 points ago +8 / -0

Xiden is not a future Nobel laurent, oh wait that's not a joke anymore. But neither are his handlers, one of the worst parts of affirmative action is you've got people like Barry Obama that believe their own press. Sorry Barry but you're about half past dumbass and you're trying to sit at the table with smart people it's just going to be embarrassing.

2
ClownTamer 2 points ago +2 / -0

Obama’s greatest trait was being a very elegant liar positioned to take advantage of civil rights supporters. He was a complete celebrity and the media journalismed all over him every day. That path is now closed. Nobody gives a shit about what Obama has to say.

1
DrBJTester 1 point ago +1 / -0

He was the first black president straight out of central casting. The reality that the Obama administration was possibly the most corrupt in American history has dawned on about half the population. Another 25% understands that what he did wasn't good for them.

And the remaining 25% knows he lied when his lips were moving. Sure some of them don't care and I get that, but he doesn't have a following except among his acolytes. The media repeatedly suggests an Obama popularity that frankly doesn't exist.

2
ClownTamer 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think his popularity exists for what is probably a good number of people that live on social media approved headlines and liberal TV shows. The Daily Show back in the day really pushed him and then mostly acted like he was a god despite punking him from time to time because Jon was at least a little more honest than the current crowd.

Bush was universally shat on, then Obama was made to seem like we elected the love child of MLK and a rock star. Then 8 years of shit like the Nobel peace prize and pretending he was a saint really set a tone for people. Pretty much everything bad that happened during his time was blamed on Bush and republicans. Even Biden did that during a debate saying it was all the fault of a republican congress. I don’t recall a single thing Obama took credit for when it didn’t reflect well on him, or was made to take credit for. That image still lingers in the minds of many, particularly here in the Bay. Biden only ran this time because they could conjure that back up, and combine it with Trump being a racist backlash to the first black president.

Trump did shatter it for many, but there are just as many if not more out there now that still look back and remember a time before they were told there are KKK folks marching in the streets and believe in that reality. It isn’t a conspiracy, they just believe it. I know plenty of people that believe it. Not one of them ever looks into anything beyond going to a ‘trusted source’ like CNN or whatever Google’s pushing. It really is a divide between high information and low information voters at this point.

I didn’t used to rate Obama as the worst president of all time, but considering he created this situation and entrenched the worst of it into the system, I have changed my mind on that. Turns out the problem with the red scare was that they didn’t go far enough in getting that out of the system. They pushed it to the fringe and education system and it festered and grew and now China and other folks are funding it to spread the cancer.

1
DrBJTester 1 point ago +1 / -0

At first I thought Obama was stupid or just lazy and incompetent; but he was very good at personal enrichment. He's the worst of Chicago politics the political machine that's focused only on corruption. As time goes by I think that's becoming clearer to more people. There was not a peaceful transition of power from the Obama administration to the Trump administration.

That's a watershed moment in American history.

1
ClownTamer 1 point ago +1 / -0

I took Obama at his word for a while. That maybe it was the fault that republicans were holding him up, things like that. As time went on, however, and in retrospect, it’s almost impossible to see things that way. Not being able to keep your existing healthcare, him bailing out the banks, more wars, the never ending blame with explanations that didn’t make any fucking sense.

About all he was good at was PR. And after 2012, playing the race card and acting like people didn’t like him because he was black. His failure as a president caused him to set race relations back 50 years by pretending he didn’t do well because people are racist. No Barry, people came to dislike you because you talked a big game and did a poor job.

2
DrBJTester 2 points ago +2 / -0

When I tried to read anything he'd written when he was president of the Harvard Law review and found out that was impossible. Maybe 6 months into his administration, the only reason why an egomaniac like Obama would seal the law review was there was a problem.

That was my red pill moment. Later when he was a devout racist trying to create strife and division in the country that was when I lost all respect for him. Next the scandals and the lies just kept mounting. Now with the declassified documents we know that he was a corrupt criminal.

See, the first pass on this story made it sound like the individual being denied was a neighbor from the south, which in terms of simpering pander pieces is a classic concern-trolling race bait article like we see every day.

Oh wait, the illegal alien wasn't brown, he was yellow. And instead of leveraging state labor laws or having the "employee" being "denied" sue Space-X directly, it went straight to the DOJ.

Chinese-Biden kompromat confirmed.

Note also that the "SN8 flight" under President Trump - which achieve several milestones before having low gas pressure and failing the landing - is (supposedly) being retroactively marked 'in violation of flight license', and the FAA is giving Elon grief over SN9 's flight planned last Thursday.

Elon does talk the Left's talk all over the place. But his actions are efforts at actual solutions to the endless-free-money pits the Left wants their talking pits to be.

They aren't being open about the reasons the FAA has revoked flight authorization, but the leaks are to the Washington post -> Jeff Bezos company of willful agents. FAA posted "flight scrubbed" when normal (professional) terminology would be "SpaceX does not have the correct permit for today's flight yet." or similar.

There's also a new push for the EPA to give them grief, because rockets in swamps are unusual (looks at all our other launching sites ... counts the former swamp/wetlands).

Elon's response is to put SN10 - yet another prototype out there and start work for it to fly.

Next attempt: Monday. If the FAA comes to work that day.

So there's another element to the game. US Government forces large corporations to hire these 'foreign workers', probably knowing they beam the information out of the country, in this case back to China. The politician gets a huge political donation or trade deal or something on the other end, and the circle is complete.
