Picking a fight with Elon Musk has to be the lowest IQ move in the history of government.

Actually, the first thing a corrupt government has to do is purge all the high IQ people. That's usually not a problem, considering that with corrupt governments, they tend to always rig themselves a win in the "justice" system.

Good point, but it's not about what Musk would do to retaliate. It's that he is such a popular figure across the spectrum of public opinion that going after him would unite the public perhaps as much as any other conceivable scenario. That is the most dangerous outcome for a corrupt govt.

Dude has access to rockets. He can shove a car around a few planets in a slingshot and have a mighty nice Kinetic Energy Weapon to target onto his enemies. Ultimate 2A there.

We’re not even a month into Biden’s presidency and already people are revolting in various ways. You know he’s going to side with Wall Street on the stock market too. He’s ruining women’s sports. In general, if this pace keeps up for four years, under him or Kamala, the natural outcome would be something the polar opposite, whether or not Trump had even been president already.

I personally think Trump’s role in the next election should be as King maker, not to run again. If someone can have Trump’s strategy behind them and a more appealing persona to many, they’re going to have to rig the election so much that nobody would know someone that voted for the other guy.

Xiden is not a future Nobel laurent, oh wait that's not a joke anymore. But neither are his handlers, one of the worst parts of affirmative action is you've got people like Barry Obama that believe their own press. Sorry Barry but you're about half past dumbass and you're trying to sit at the table with smart people it's just going to be embarrassing.

Obama’s greatest trait was being a very elegant liar positioned to take advantage of civil rights supporters. He was a complete celebrity and the media journalismed all over him every day. That path is now closed. Nobody gives a shit about what Obama has to say.

He was the first black president straight out of central casting. The reality that the Obama administration was possibly the most corrupt in American history has dawned on about half the population. Another 25% understands that what he did wasn't good for them.

And the remaining 25% knows he lied when his lips were moving. Sure some of them don't care and I get that, but he doesn't have a following except among his acolytes. The media repeatedly suggests an Obama popularity that frankly doesn't exist.

I think his popularity exists for what is probably a good number of people that live on social media approved headlines and liberal TV shows. The Daily Show back in the day really pushed him and then mostly acted like he was a god despite punking him from time to time because Jon was at least a little more honest than the current crowd.

Bush was universally shat on, then Obama was made to seem like we elected the love child of MLK and a rock star. Then 8 years of shit like the Nobel peace prize and pretending he was a saint really set a tone for people. Pretty much everything bad that happened during his time was blamed on Bush and republicans. Even Biden did that during a debate saying it was all the fault of a republican congress. I don’t recall a single thing Obama took credit for when it didn’t reflect well on him, or was made to take credit for. That image still lingers in the minds of many, particularly here in the Bay. Biden only ran this time because they could conjure that back up, and combine it with Trump being a racist backlash to the first black president.

Trump did shatter it for many, but there are just as many if not more out there now that still look back and remember a time before they were told there are KKK folks marching in the streets and believe in that reality. It isn’t a conspiracy, they just believe it. I know plenty of people that believe it. Not one of them ever looks into anything beyond going to a ‘trusted source’ like CNN or whatever Google’s pushing. It really is a divide between high information and low information voters at this point.

I didn’t used to rate Obama as the worst president of all time, but considering he created this situation and entrenched the worst of it into the system, I have changed my mind on that. Turns out the problem with the red scare was that they didn’t go far enough in getting that out of the system. They pushed it to the fringe and education system and it festered and grew and now China and other folks are funding it to spread the cancer.
