Why don't we all just start taking the day off from work? Legitimately, using whatever PTO you have. Don't call out fake sick, just say "I am using my vacation day to take this day off."

Reminds me of Ayn Rand day, which is also her birthday. (February 2nd.) For her birthday, you buy yourself a present.
