The vaccine is not made to prevent you from getting the virus. Basically it's a set of instructions that tells your immune system to be on the lookout for the virus. It is suppose to reduce the severity of the symptoms. Sort of like Hydroxychloroquine. Only with the vaccine there are an unknown amount of side effects which includes possibly dying. It's also possible that future infections of any Coronavirus will cause your immune system to overreact. Not in a good way
