The next morning drinking your coffee on the front steps you see that your garden is overgrown with crabgrass. Freedom is tenacious, it’s like life. The more you fight it, the more it holds on, and, eventually conquers everything.

Nah. Freedom is the exception in human history. The majority of history, humans lived under authoritarian rule and with slavery.
Freedom only seems prevalent because our forefathers worked hard to give it to us. It is not a weed. It will die if not tended to.
The idea that freedom is the default state of things is the same fallacy that thinks that technology is a linear process. We're in for some very serious dark ages, friends.
Unless we work hard to keep freedom and keep our society.
