The Deep State wants an American version of China and what is the percentage of the population affiliated with the Communist party and how does it work -- is it based off of social/economic standing, age, family origin? Is there active members and just members? I would like to hear from a Chinese pede to get down to the truth of the matter.

Its a social requirement to join.

Imagine if you had to join the Democratic party instead of the selective service when you turned 18.

You can get by without it, but you are closing off many career paths forward.

Good God, I hope this is not where we are heading. I wish people were more educated about socialism and communism. If you told half of country about the horrors of what to come they would just say "nah, ok, orange man bad" and go about their day.

It is not mandatory, for everyday people, most never do. Most Chinese love China, but hate the CCP.

This is actually a really great question! I've only heard from those that have escaped warning others of the dangers at the rallies and such. But I never stopped to ask about the logistics about the party.

I always hear that most of the people oppose the communist party and don't agree with their policies but since it is communism if you speak up too much you just disappear or are punished in some way.

Basically, yes. That's exactly it. And to get out you have to try to sneak out/over the border/would rather be thrown in jail in a different country and get fed than go back... it's serious shit.

I've no fucking idea why all of Biden's voters (and yes, people voted for him) can't see what's going on. It's frustrating as fuck and it ticks me off.

You must understand that China as a country has been in existence a lot longer that the relatively young and fledgling democracies of the world. In a sense, they still have a "dynasty" mentality, but in this case "the state" has replaced their "dear leader". This is why their market economy works despite no social democracy. They are a relatively homogenous population which helps to cement these old beliefs, and tradition is very important in their lives. Strong centralized leadership is very much wanted there, with all that entails. It will take years for their younger generation to actually make a difference in regards to social freedoms, but it will happen. The internet has changed the world, for better or worse.
