The Deep State wants an American version of China and what is the percentage of the population affiliated with the Communist party and how does it work -- is it based off of social/economic standing, age, family origin? Is there active members and just members? I would like to hear from a Chinese pede to get down to the truth of the matter.

You must understand that China as a country has been in existence a lot longer that the relatively young and fledgling democracies of the world. In a sense, they still have a "dynasty" mentality, but in this case "the state" has replaced their "dear leader". This is why their market economy works despite no social democracy. They are a relatively homogenous population which helps to cement these old beliefs, and tradition is very important in their lives. Strong centralized leadership is very much wanted there, with all that entails. It will take years for their younger generation to actually make a difference in regards to social freedoms, but it will happen. The internet has changed the world, for better or worse.
