Yes, he did some good work, but he also released a lot of things that didn't reveal any corruption and harmed our interests, like releasing every State Department cable from the whole world without redacting the names of confidential sources who risked their lives to give us good information, etc.
I'm talking about back when Chelsea Manning pulled all of the worldwide cables and released them all the wikileaks. That was hugely damaging to our national interests and to everyone who provided us information confidentially overseas. It wasn't rino propaganda that that happened and there wasn't much effort to protect people.
Sources had to be evacuated and in places like China sources were almost certainly killed and imprisoned. It also made it impossible ever since to get good information from confidential sources because no one trusted us to keep any sources confidential after that. It severely restricted our ability to gather critical information overseas.
The way you made it sound was that everybody knew the consequences, but I doubt there was any conspiracy between Chelsea and wikileaks to hurt innocent people.
Rather, its hugely beneficial for the government to claim that all these people got hurt and use the "but muh intelligence" argument.
When they lock people up for memes, you are already in a prison to begin with.
I don't agree with all the pro-Assange stuff on here. I hate the establishment too, but the guy is not a hero.
have you seen the work he did? the guy was a legend. He put his whole life on the line. One of the last great journalists. Veritas could be next

That was rino propaganda. He went through a process of redacting as much as they could. Certainly, anybody who got hurt was by accident.

How much damage was there?
