Every single bar of his sounds like the shitty quotes you see on motivational posters. I can totally see how it would resonate with edgy teenagers but come on... This dudes entire aesthetic is to be as "wild" and "edgy" as possible. It's all style no substance. He's basically just reading a list of things that happened last year, would scarcely call it rap. I mean good on him for making lots of money off his brand, I just think his content is shallower than a petri dish.
Thanks for telling me what I listen to, that's called a strawman. I listen to rap and hip-hop more than any other genre and I think this is just as dumb as WAP. The difference is that this is intended to be super deep. I agree that rap has devolved overall from what it once was.
