Marx's "real communism" is supposed to be a state where there's no border, no rulers, no authority. Everyone just collectively works together like a big ant farm.
That's what anarcho-communism is. And yes, it's incredibly stupid and unrealistic.
You read Marx and think, "Wow this is retarded. Why would anyone come up with this?". Then you find out he was his era's equivalent of a trust fund kid. Would rather chew off his own foot than do an honest day's work. Then suddenly everything clicks. That's -exactly- the sort of person who would dream up things like "Why are poor people poor, just declare everyone has infinity money and then nobody is poor, problem solved!"
And it explains why modern self-professed communists are NEETs or ivory tower professors who don't remember what life outside their own heads is like.
