Otherwise why would he have held that rally? That entire day was a complete failure and disaster, and Trump has not been the same since. Why dead silence from him about what Pence has done? He's never even mentioned Mike Pence since.

He has mentioned Pence since, actually (and oddly). He thanked Pence and I think his wife without a tinge of negativity (I believe it was his farewell speech)...the whole thing doesn't make sense to me.
There was nothing odd about it. Have you not seen the spot he's been put in since the 6th? He smartly didn't take a flamethrower to him because he would've been skewered even worse and pissed off republicans who were tripping over themselves to put distance between them and Trump. Once this impeachment nonsense is settled, and hopefully in his favor, the gloves will likely come off.
I really wish some of you could see the forest for the trees.
