Out of 80 or so shoppers, I only saw 3 other people without masks on... Passed a family whose small children looked at me like I was a leper as I passed by.... Sad sad sheep.

I keep doing the meme IRL:

"You say my not wearing a mask is gonna kill you...well how long is it gonna take? I ain't got all day."

27
justwow 27 points ago +27 / -0

Yup, and it's introduced a new level of incivility. Noone says hello to anyone. It' s like it's given license to all the socially awkward, awful people in the world.

15
Red_Turtle 15 points ago +15 / -0

I've found the same. This used to be a nice friendly area where everybody smiled at eachother and said hello. Now I can't even make small talk with the cashier to make them feel like I see them as a person and not an appliance.

10
Gyrfalcon 10 points ago +10 / -0

Keep trying. I find most people respond to a smile and a thank you. I usually add have a great day.

6
Floppykek 6 points ago +6 / -0

And even though 98% people have masks on... ~30-40% or so don’t want them so you’ll find common ground if just willing to talk.

7
JimboForDonald 7 points ago +7 / -0

Here's a bit of hopium for ya. I went into a quickie store this morning, the cashier was not wearing a mask, I wasn't wearing a mask but there were a couple of people behind me that were. Had some good (loud) small talk about how stupid masks are with the cashier. Made my morning.

I go out of my way to thank people for not wearing a mask whether they are inside or outside.

And I go out of my way to not even lift an eyelash to someone who’s wearing a mask.

Sorry I don’t speak bahhhhh

I was once hiking in the middle of nowhere and a mountain biker came barreling down a trail wearing a mask.

People are essentially giving themselves hypoxia by exercising wearing gags.

We're going to see so many people become more and more retarded... and I'm not sure if we'll notice a difference.

It's never funny when it happens to you.

6
Floppykek 6 points ago +6 / -0

I’m a mountain biker. I go to the trails to release my emotions but last year was horrendous because I I find myself so enraged by outdoor covidiots that I found myself partially going out on trails TO GET ANGRY at the stupidity and yell and laugh at them.

It’s fun but it’s really not 🙁

All you can do is smile shake your head. I was out walking and a young girl 18 ish went by with her dog. She had a “fashion” muzzle on herself not the dog. Seemed a bit odd.

Yesterday I saw two 30ish parents win 2 kids 4/5 and both the kids had on masks but neither of the parents!!!

Darwin would be proud.

Good. Less covidiots.

13
Lunabeauty 13 points ago +13 / -0

Apparently, it’s a new thing now if someone hikes without a mask, then sees a person approaching, puts on their mask, and once that person passes they take their mask off. I hate when people do that. New variants of stupid.

This was happening to me last summer - a whole family that I passed on different days always did that when I ran past. Fucking dumb.

3
Floppykek 3 points ago +3 / -0

I’m to the point now that I’ve seen this about 100 times I just start yelling

Zombies

Sheep

Fucking idiots

Or

Bow to the cult of fear.

I can’t help but yell at people when I drive by to take their mask off but I’m to the point where I just want to yell FUCK YOU (without any other context) to anyone wearing a mask outside.

Laughter works!!!

If nothing just chuckle at them trying to not overtly show it.

They ALWAYS notice and 80% take the mask under their chin after I laugh at them like a child laughs at a fool.

In Ireland. Same shit here. Just me and my lady without masks almost everywhere we go. I’m rockin the MAGA hat too just so they know I’m not fuckin around. My 5 year old son asked me a couple of days ago, at bedtime, “why don’t you wear a mask in the shop dad?” I told him the truth. That I’ve learned a lot about ‘the cough’ as we call it, and we’re strong and healthy and if we got it we’d be fine. Also that I dont think anyone should were a mask but if they’re worried they can do as they wish and that’s fine by us. He asked if he could wear one next time. (Feels left out or the trendy designs caught his eye or something I suppose) i said no, you can’t. You need fresh air to grow up to be big and strong. I hate that they’ve made it normal for kids.

11
223_Liberty_Tree 11 points ago +11 / -0

Great dad.

Kids dont get to choose what they eat. they shouldn't get to choose their gender or mask preference either.

Thank you!

2
HunterBidensCrakPipe 2 points ago +2 / -0

Appreciate it Pede. I know you’re all doing your part too. Easier to be the one person in the supermarket without a mask when I know you’re all out there doing the same. We’re not alone in those situations, we’re just not all in the same supermarket. Thanks everyone.

I went to Barnes and Noble with a Starbucks coffee, mask worn in back of my head. Gay employee runs up to me and tells I'm not allowed to drink in there so I slurp up the rest exaggerating the end of it really loud. This cock knocker then tells me I need to wear a mask so I turn around show him the back of my head and say I am. He tells me it needs to cover my mouth I tell him I cant hear him his mouth is covered and interrupt him saying huh.. what.. finally he pulls his mask down to yell at me and I start screaming this man needs to put on his mask this flower is trying to kill me with his covid infected mouth. He walked away.

Yep... did you look at your receipt? You know they donate to BLM. EVERY PURCHASE AT KROGER.

5
BecMonTchew 5 points ago +5 / -0

I did not know that. I'm lucky that I have a small local chain in my area and don't go to Kroger very often (they're cheaper, but it's a 30 min drive). My local store doesn't give a rats ass that my wife and I shop there without masks. Contributing to Burn Loot Murder gives me even less reason to make the long trip to Kroger now.

1
Floppykek 1 point ago +1 / -0

What??? It says that on there???

12
ERIC_CIARAMELLA 12 points ago +13 / -1

I never wear a mask except for work, since, you know, I do have to play by the rules if I want to provide for my family.

However, everyone here in NC hates wearing a fucking mask. Most people who wear it only wear because they don't know any better, which is sad.

Personally I get exposed all the time, and even my wife got "sick"...... she had sniffles, that was it, when she tested positive. We didn't change the way we lived or anything.

Fuck this retarded ass hoax virus.

4
Independenceforever 4 points ago +4 / -0

God will provide.

Man will betray you.

Do NOT play by any rules but God's rules.

You will have to face him when you die.

And if you face death, how you gonna call out to God for protection when you been mocking and rejecting both God and actual logic/evidence masks HARM you and spread disease?

Do not make it worse for EVERYONE by trying to gain favor from commies for a few months.

They'll kill you and your fam if they get more power.

Think long term.

Find a sane employer.

Serious guys TRUST GOD. He always provides a way. This is all a test to show who fears God and who trusts in idols and the "mercy" of their fellow man.

Don't be afraid. Be like Daniel and his friends.

I will take my chances in the Lion's den over playing games with commies and murderous, superstitious, self-destructive feudal serfs and their tyrants.

They will never stop. You gotta lead now or it's slavery for life brother.

0
ERIC_CIARAMELLA 0 points ago +1 / -1

I will never be afraid.

1
Kristinelllivinglost 1 point ago +2 / -1

Right now I wear a mask pretty much when I go out. Mainly because it’s a state wide mandate and I just don’t like hassling people because I get tired of people either cussing me over it pretty much daily at my job where I’m forced to enforce the mask mandate or the store that I work at is met with forced closure and fines(up to $10,000 is what I’ve been told).

0
ERIC_CIARAMELLA 0 points ago +1 / -1

There's a mandate here in my state too. Still don't wear it. A lot of people don't wear it. I've been asked to put one on in stores but I just tell them to either to shove the mask up their ass or I tell them, "No, I don't think I will."

Wear one for work but if you want to be an upstanding citizen, don't wear one at all other than work.

11
justwow 11 points ago +11 / -0

Yeah, I had a couple walking on sidewalk shudder against a building together as I walked by in 30 degree weather, unmasked. I said,"You're fine. It's fine." Good grief.

It has let me know which businesses to not shop at. I have tried to do the whole small business thing, but if I walk in your store and you scream at me to wear a mask I'm walking out and never returning.

10
NukeTheNarrative 10 points ago +10 / -0

Went to a grocery store with the lady today. Neither of us wearing a mask. We were the only people there who weren't. No one bothered us at all. The staff helped me more than once. Checkout girl was friendly. And as we were finishing a man in a mask walked by, leaned in slightly to us and said (I kid you not) "I'm glad to see the are still some people with courage".

Made me feel good, while also a bit sad for him. He recognized "courage" without living up to it himself.

But maybe in a few more weeks hell find he has it inside himself too.

I know this sounds like a "and then everybody clapped" story, and I have no way to prove it. But I know for myself that I am telling the complete truth regarding the experience I had today.

I am very friendly, and I smile at and treat everyone around me in public well. I'm also a fairly large and intimidating man in my own way. So that could be part of why we were left. When my old lady goes out she complies with the mask mandates. But when she goes with me she goes maskless.

2
Gnometard 2 points ago +2 / -0

It really depends on the employees here. Dewine has people that check and the businesses are terrified of the fines.

2
NukeTheNarrative 2 points ago +2 / -0

In don't think it's quite as serious as people seem to think it is here.

I don't think a single business fine will EVER hold up in court.

1
meredithcat2017 1 point ago +1 / -0

I never wear a mask to the store. There’s been a few times that people will see me without my mask and then take there’s off after. I did get bitched out at the gym for not wearing a mask when not lifting between sets. Fucking stupid

8

I'm in contract with a new house in a smaller area. I'm really hoping I'll actually be able to shop without mask. It's an issue in my current location, wearing under the chin is ok though

3

WTF? The brain damage from lack of oxygen is real.

5

Must be in a red state. Must be nice... one day I swear I’m selling and moving to the middle of nowhere in the middle of the US. Or north to Wyoming.

Communists and Karen’s will go apeshit on me without a mask. I don’t think my conceal carry insurance will pay out enough to defend myself from the hordes of them.

5
Ayyyyyyyyyyyyysuckit 5 points ago +5 / -0

I never wear a mask when going into stores. If someone says, "You'll need to wear a mask in my store," I say, "OK I'll just go to a different store."

Couple of days ago I'm at Aldi and a woman walks up and says, "You know you're not wearing a mask!?!?!" I replied, "You know what you're not doing? Minding your own fucking business." I continued with my shopping and checked out without any issue.

4
MEPBEP 4 points ago +4 / -0

Ok but if they are afraid of getting virus...

Why don't they use curbside pickup of grocery?

It is pretty much available everywhere...

1
Gyrfalcon 1 point ago +1 / -0

Why don't they use curbside pickup of grocery?

I tried it twice.

  1. got 4 products, 1 error, 25% failure rate

  2. 10 or so items, at least 5 substituted with something else. Had to remove and reject all substitutions. 50% failure. Plus 1 wrong product I never noticed until I was home because I was dealing with the substitutions.

I would NEVER trust anyone to pick out my produce.

1
MaxLevel0 1 point ago +1 / -0

I get groceries delivered every week. I almost never have substitutions or mistakes.

However, heavy items like a case of bottled water are usually "out of stock".

I attribute the problems more to lazy employees (and a new process) than anything else. The service has done nothing but improve in the last year.

STOP COMPLYING. YOU PEOPLE WHO KNOW BETTER ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR WAKING UP THE PLEBS. STOP BEING CUCKS AND LEAD BY EXAMPLE.

Take your life back.

Civil disobedience.

STOP COMPLYING. IT ONLY MAKES IT WORSE FOR YOURSELF IN THE LONG TERM.

Floppykek 2 points ago +2 / -0

It’s 2021 and this is how I casually write google maps reviews for local business. Here’s me giving a bagel shop a taste of his mind!! A nerd with a mission!

The mask sign on your door is quite inaccurate in a Very Important manner. Health Orders: ARE NOT LAW Public “mandates”: ARE NOT LAW Therefore it is well within our rights as free citizens of this State and this Nation to NOT wear a mask. Show me the statute passed by the Colorado LEGISLATURE that requires masks BY LAW in public places? DOES NOT EXIST (this is the only way your sign would be accurate)

Yes our local leaders have granted themselves the authority to curtail our Constitutional Rights and impose fines. Yet these hold NO LEGAL AUTHORITY under the constitution of the highest law of the land.

I Love your Bagels and I have no problem with your employees.

I like to Patron Liberty Minded Patriots. Not Authoritarians and Commies.

Ive seen the following sign in person a few places and felt quite honored as a customer and a human. This is what a respectable business posts in their store if they feel they want to respect ALL CUSTOMERS not just the ones who use FEAR as a weapon. “Attention Customers: Those in our government have ordered all persons entering an indoor facility to wear a mask. If you have a medical exemption preventing you from wearing a mask, you are exempt for this order. Due to HIPPA and the 4th amendment, We cannot legally ask you about your medical condition. Therefore, if we see you without a mask, we will assume you have a medical condition and we will welcome you inside to support our store.” It would be a shame for you to loose business to those who truly support Local Small Businesses. Remember I CHOSE YOU over Starbucks etc...

I finally got the balls to start doing this two weeks ago at king sippers (a Kroger subsidiary)

It’s so liberating. And it’s joyful not feeling like a zombie. And it’s nearly impossible for me to not laugh my ass off the whole time as I’m surrounded by brain dead zombies.

I see a guy turn a corner wearing a hoodie without a mask and he’s shamefully holding up his collar to breathe through and I cracked up. It was hard not to tell him that he is more brainwashed than the maskholes

1

1
Dan85smith 1 point ago +1 / -0

Try walking into a Meijer, old dude threatened me as soon as I walked in, claiming I had to wear one and he would call the cops, told him I’m not a Muslim and did my shopping. Always make them feel like shit for saying anything to you.

1
Independenceforever 1 point ago +1 / -0

Humor, the holy spirit, and happiness are your best weapons.

People STILL in masks have none of those.

They need your help. They will have lung and brain damage if they don't already.

Those people suffocating themselves for nothing will be dead or disabled. WE NEED TO WARN THEM.

If you really love them, even calling them a damn fool or pointing and mocking/laughing works wonders. It will help them and everybody listening.

I get support and high fives now. Never persecution.

1
trumpcard7 1 point ago +1 / -0

My sister went hiking with a group of friends and was accosted by a middle aged Karen screaming at them to "put on masks and social distance". My sister was like: we're nowhere near you." And the woman responded that she meant they had to distance from each other...

These people are mentally ill and the media plays on that.
