Apparently journalism was extremely partisan through Jefferson's presidency.
Although media has always spun the news because they leaned left, they now lie by omission. They simply do not report the news that reflects negatively on the Democrat party and hype up news that hurts Republicans.
The biggest travesty was the advent of circular leaks by the FBI and Intelligence Community where they actually planted evidence with the media, then used the "reported" story to open investigations. Bob Mueller's report constantly cited the media as a source (but the intelligence community was the real source, reported as an anonymous source by the media).
Investigative journalism simply does not exist any longer.
I am torn. I believe we should be off of Twitter, because it is a garbage platform. On the other hand, I appreciate people still keeping up the good fight.

Funny how these people who use their billion dollar media outlets to plot against us, to control us, to denigrate us, think that civility is just something that exists like air and sunlight. These “but muh attack on press freedom” people don’t seem to understand the difference between freedom and slavery.
In 1933 Germany these assholes would be Nazi controlled press, and if anyone complained about their constant Nazi propaganda they’d be like “but muh attack on press freedom!” That’s how stupid and dishonest they are.
90% of the press is owned by 5 companies and controlled by a single party. This is a recipe for power seizure and these Democrats can’t seem to figure out that they’re the repeat of the Nazis, agents of corporate-state fascism.

Read Unfreedom of the Press. That is an excellent read and surprisingly minimally biased. It's basically straight facts and could be a history book.
