I'm a newb... Are you supposed to buy ingots or coins? There's so many options in coins and designs ... Does it matter? Are they all the same? Is 1 oz, 2 oz, 5 oz, 10 oz preferred?
Yes. Anything as long as you buy from a reputable place and the word German is not in the name. German silver is basically a scam. .999 pure silver is what you want.
Most ppl buy 1 oz coins to rounds. Depending on your state you will get charged tax on coins. Usually not rounds or bars. For more weight faster bars are good.
Its all personal preference. I stack buffalo rounds some stack American eagle coins or world coins. Silver is silver though, the cheaper the better.

Up higher somebody said coins are more expensive because they are also collectable.
They can be, but if you buy 2021 (or even 2020) dated stuff, it's usually a very small premium over market.

Try to stick to the standard 1 oz, as it's easier to resell.
Ordered!!
IIRC coins and bars are roughly the same unless you buy rarer, older coins, uncirculated/untouched coins, etc.
