He doesn't care that much about the impeachment besides getting his words out.

What would the point be? Everyone has already made up their mind how they are going to vote.

EXACTLY my point. The outcome is already predetermined. BUT he can use this to defend his POV on the election fraud.

They already KNOW the impeachment is unconstitutional. If president trump is going to be on trial he might as well air his grievances. The senate has already made up their mind how they will vote. This not about justice. Its vindictive worthless trash trying to keep president trump out of office. To punish him for not betraying the american people

It doesn't matter if the legality of impeachnent is a sham. It's been well established that the legality of anything does not matter to our ruling elites. The game is rigged, and he has to play anyway. He may as well use his time to show the fraud evidence that has been denied it's day in court.

Why would they impeach him based on lies? Why would they impeach him if he is not the president? So he can't run 2024? All of those allegations are stupid and pointless. I would like to hear your detailed reasons.

If they can find him guilty of inciting insurrection the can try and bar him from holding public office per the 14th amendment.

14th Amendment, Section 3. No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may, by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Just start the trial already. I can't wait.

It is a political “trial”; it need not follow any laws. Trump knows that facts do not matter in this trial; what matters is the public opinion.

The article is confused in thinking that Trump is scared to step in shit. He could care less. He wants to show the American people the truth.

Classic Miss Lindsey Republicans swim like salmon flailing against a dam, endlessly trying to get back to the place their losing strategies were born to fail, where they whine and complain about ‘respect for the process’ while the Democrats walk all over them. Keep jerkin’ yer tail fins GOP, maybe one day the Democrats will give a shit.

Trump should have done it a lot sooner and not cave in to their demands. He has a lot of time to tell the truth to the American people. But he didn't do it. He waited for things to get worse before he speaks the truth.

Senate isn’t going to convict him anyway so why not get some punches thrown in?

He supposedly invited a riot about the steal of the election I think it’s relevant.
