They were SHORTING Springtime for Hitler, selling shares to Mrs. Johnson 50%, Mrs. Blumenthal 50%, Mrs. Smith...100%. And when the show is then a success (think Gamestop), the plot explodes. Thanks magamemer I've been waiting for a quick and easy way to understand it all without getting berated for doing my homework or some phrase to google. Of course I did that but this provides a common frame of reference that you can connect with other people in a short quick and easy to understand way.
