I'm with you on this one. I wish NC would join in but we barely are a red state anymore. I'm completely surrounded by progressive Liberals in the most populated county in the state and it fucking blows.
We should fight for our state. Look Ahead America had a 3 hour class on how to lobby legislatures for change that was free. I high recommend you look at that organization and get involved. I live in Wilmington so of course the Uni town is going to be more blue than red unfortunately, so I can relate. We need to find our like minded people so we can gather and make changes at the local level, the fight starts there.
I'm not about to move there, but I'd be sorry to see it go because we'd lose a proud red state. It's unlikely to happen anyway.
