I’m a Verizon wireless customer and have an iPhone 11 which is supposed to not be 5G capable. All of a sudden without my concent I’m seeing the 5G symbol at the top of my phone screen. I’m absolutely terrified. What should I do?

Mostly true, but 5g technology does include beamforming where multiple towers recognize the phone and project signals specifically at that location.
