Had Hydroxycholroquine been used there’s a high chance the death rate would have been much lower than it was. At most a two week lockdown would have been enough. There are significant social and economic impacts in NZ due to the lockdown. It’s not the best model, far from it.

It’s doing ok but states and countries that did not go to full lockdown are in a better position than NZ and will on the long term be in a much better position. I hope that anyone who lost a loved one because of the unavailability of HCQ due to medical opinions being blocked sues Google, Twitter and Facebook for taking away their options for a viable treatment.

If you can't get HCQ like most of us then Dr Zelenko recommends Quercetin which is an over the counter supplement with similar properties.
It defeats the cell defences then the zinc you should be taking with it should kill the virus.
Quercetin, Zinc, Vitamin D3 are the main alternatives with some evidence that people are taking. Vitamin C for good measure.
