Yes, I realize he's an asshole for both his appearance and volunteering to testify against Trump, but did he do anything illegal? If not, why is he in jail?

I think a LOT of them will be questioning the legitimacy of the election- if it the ballots being cast that day were illegitimate then no one there was committing a crime. WE THE PEOPLE had the right- nay, THE DUTY- to stop an illegitimate election BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.
They had to stage the “riot” to once again prevent a fair hearing of the evidence of the steal. Sadly they suckered several cowardly RINOs including one of my senators into backing down so that the evidence never got presented. As an added benefit, they got to demonize half of the country as domestic terrorists for trying to have a fair election. How are we to share a country with these devils?
